Free Supported Playgroup

A safe, supportive, fun and inclusive space for you to connect with other parents and carers...

At The Parents Hub, we are passionate about opening up conversations for parents, so they feel supported, connected, and well. We know how challenging it can be to navigate the early years of parenting, especially when it involves children with possible delays, disabilities, or neurodiversity. That’s why we are offering our FREE Supported Playgroup – a safe, supportive space where parents and carers can come together and share their experiences.

Our Supported Playgroups are specifically designed for families with children aged 0-5 years who may be navigating the journey of potential delays or neurodiversity (a diagnosis is not required). We welcome siblings to join in the sessions too, and children are encouraged to attend.

These groups are facilitated by our expert team, with guidance from Robyn Papworth, a Paediatric Exercise Physiologist and Masters-qualified Developmental Educator.

We are proud to to announce the partnership with Uniting Vic. Tas. who fund these groups through the Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP), with support to kickstart from Yarra Ranges Council funding.

As a mum of a child with additional needs, Steph shares her own experience:
“I can still remember just how lonely and overwhelming that journey was and wish something like these groups was around during the process of my child’s diagnosis. Establishing and building networks as a family with others going through the same or similar situations is incredibly beneficial.” – Steph
